50 carries 100 yards 2.0 ypc 0 TD, longest run: 6 yards, I would be a little (or a lot more) worried.

How much does Walden get paid now? And how much is a competitive salary for our OC position? Y'all's thoughts?

well, with all the Texas high school recruits coming in each weekend, it would seem Walden is either a helluva recruiting WR corch, OR, he's telling them something we don't know. Seems he wouldn't have come here unless OC had been promised to him when it opened.

Walden makes $100k now, with $8,333 possible bonus adder. Dawson made $200k last season, with $16,667 possible bonus adder.

It looks like many of our assistants got nice pay bumps after 2017 season. Walden went from $80k (2017) to $100k (2018). Billings went from $110k (2017) to $160k (2018) after his promotion. Nicholson from $70k to $120k. Losey from $70k to $100k. Wonder if Hop offered Walden $150k and he said no. I can't imagine they would have offered him $200k.

Tony Pecoraro made $350k last season at FAU and $125k season prior at USM. He was the highest paid assistant in CUSA.

The Coast is much different though. Insurance increases cost of living dramatically and our housing costs are generally more expensive as well.

I was thinking along those lines as well. In actuality $150k here will probably net you more than $175k-$200k in places like Houston (Rice and UH), Dallas (SMU and UNT), and South Florida (FAU/FIU). Then again, when you are using those numbers for leverage the higher numbers will mean you get even more which USM can't/won't match.

Any word on any of the other replacements? We still don't have an OC, DB, TE, and RB coach...who the hell is holding down the fort over there besides Hop and the equipment managers??

Bump. We hired a new TE and RB coach from ULL and Arky State. Patty Magee is saying Hop has finalized his offensive staff. Seems like the only position left to be filled is our DB Coach (Eddie Hicks left for UNCC).
