Those schools in less than 10 years could be FBS ready while others are ready now. All they need are sugar daddies who will donate money to build to be D1 ready.

West Texas A&M (current) and UTPB stadiums are owned by the local school districts and are in the same situation as Azusa Pacific in having little or no control over stadium modifications. West Texas A&M new stadium will be about 10,000.

Central Oklahoma has a 10,000 seat stadium; good for them. They still do not qualify for D1 because they do not have enough sports. That big 10,000 seat stadium was filled to only 44% of capacity on average. Arkansas Tech had better attendance than UCO by a nice margin and we were terrible this year. Moving to D1 does not guarantee a significant attendance boost; football attendance at central arkansas increased by maybe 1,000 over their D2 days.

Plus, Dixie State and several LSC schools could jump to be FBS in a shorter time since they could expand. Central Oklahoma could be on this list.

All it needs to be done is too play musical chairs. Several Big Sky schools could go FBS, and some of the Southland as well.

20+ member is too big for the Lone Star. The league has already announced that it will be three divisions. Which seems problematic especially since not everyone sponsors the same sports (some offer football, Texas Woman's doesnt offer mens sports).

FBS is a bit of a push for the the Lone Star Conference schools. The stadiums, student population, and funding are not there. FCS is doable

These facilities definitely have the capacity for FCS football. The question is would the administration be willing to invest in more scholarships and larger travel budgets to take their programs to the next level.
