It could have also been a killer. 2 seconds left on the shot clock turned into 2 free throws and a new shot clock (which I think they scored on).
They did score on a little hook shot from Supica after the 2 made FTs. I don't think he said anything, but he kind of took a step towards the guy then stared at him. It wasn't awful, but I can see why a technical was called.
It's a T all day every day in college basketball. Correct call was made. I like the emotion, but the rules are the rules.

He was wearing powder blue. How intimidating could he have been?

I was at the game last night right behind the ODU bench. Coach is completely different at away games as far as his yelling and criticizing of players so all can hear. My guess is that since it was a much quieter arena and several players families behind the bench. Speaking of which, Caver appeared to have a nice following since his hometown is about 4 hours away. Taylor Heinecke was also at the game. He was by himself, but what an encouraging site to see him supporting his alma mater. He had a large brace on his left arm from that hit he took in week 16.
Could you guys hear the "No Chicken" chants last night? I screamed rather loudly after we hit free throw after free throw last night. The students kept yelling "we want chicken" because they got free chickfila if we missed 2 FT's in a row. I'd like to take credit for our exceptional FT performance last night!

Caver has a nice following regardless of where we play. He had over 30 friends and family at the Syracuse game.

I’m sure when they make mistakes they beat themselves up inside more than anything Jones can say. Just pushes them to realize that even in a game that you’ve won, you need to stay poised.
I love Ezipke’s emotion, good and bad. You can tell that he’s in the game emotionally and cares about getting better and doing his best. I wish Robinson gave off that type of impression.
You're comparing two players, one as a freshman who played 21 minutes and another as a senior who played 2 minutes.
Exactly. Thanks for agreeing with me lol
