I would guess Buffalo could lose a total of 3 more games and be ok, lose 4 more, and I think that puts them into little bit of danger. Right now I project NIU as a 4 seed with a 1 in 65 chance of winning the tourney.

What's the significance of the #29-10 sign Heflin is holding up?

That was the score when some yelled “Fire Rod Carey” in Detroit.

The sign was directed at any Carey hecklers in the audience.

I hope it was directed more as a jab at Buffalo. Otherwise it seems like a bitter motive

Finally got to watch the game last night on ESPN+ replay, awesome. Shame the weather kept the crowd from being a bit bigger, but awesome night for the program. The Convo needs more moments like that, hope the students that were there start to make it more of a habit.

Wishful thinking 03-cloud9

How did the NIU NT cover the win yesterday/today? Does anyone know if the students are actually excited after the win?

hahaha, yeah see, NIU007 is already pumped about it. Am I crazy to think NIU could draw 3000 for Toledo? Maybe the huge crowd will be BGSU if they keep their unbeaten record up and then you throw in the bobblehead giveaway.

RE: MBB v Buffalo
In the last 2:11 of the game NIU had two turnovers and two fouls by German in the open court that resulted in five free throws made by Buffalo which stop the clock with NIU winning at that point. Sometimes it better to be lucky than have basketball sense.
