JMU first needs to first find a slot in the SBC then start winning some bowl games before they are in the discussion for a major conference like the AAC.

Tulsa has been pretty awful in the AAC ... IIRC, they have had one good season and a bunch of bad ones. The last two years they are 2-10 and 3-9.

They've been a big disappointment to the conference.

I wouldn't say big, but I wouldn't argue against disappointment. Our football team has two bowls (a 10 win season for one) and two awful seasons. The basketball has been middle of the road. We have 16 total conference championships second only to Houston, but none in the revenue sports. Our football and basketball coaches are looking at their final year if they don't get a post season because they have not been keeping up with the performance of other sports.

It just hasn't been good enough and that has to change.

Ehhh... three seasons of 3 wins or less, so I say three awful seasons. The 10-3 bowl winning year was very good, no denying that. But the other bowl season was a 6-6 campaign that ended in a bowl loss, 6-7 overall so definitely not worth mentioning as any kind of positive.

So w/regards to football, I'll stick with "big" disappointment. Of course, opinions are like arseholes.
