2019 McDonald's All American Games Nominees
This list of notable seniors will be used by the Games’ Selection Committee to identify the top 24 boys and 24 girls to play in the annual event and become a part of a historic basketball legacy. The teams will take the court on Wednesday, March 27 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

I didn't see Dandridge on that list. ??? Hard to believe there's that many players better than Dandridge. Or maybe I was just look at the "four" from Tennessee.

Dandridge is a solid 4 star. Not a McDonald’s all American.

I actually think Malco is better than Watford. I believe he will be more valuable. Not at all saying Watford won’t be good or even great. I just think Dandridge will be better.
Of course if I’m wrong about this, I will gladly admit so. We will find out next season. I believe it’s going to be hard to keep Dandridge off the floor.

It's the nominees for the game, not the players selected. Pretty much anyone can be nominated. All it requires is a vote from:
High school principal
High school athletic director
High school coach
Member of the McDonald's All American Games Selection Committee
A lot of the guys on the list aren't' even ranked. Probably the principal or coach at that Kentucky school nominated all his players.

Wiseman, Hurt, Achuiwa and Watford are locks
Jeffries may be last in or first out - he had a great City of Palms tournament in front of 247 and Rivals guys....ESPN, which televises the game, has him as #22 and a five star, which could work in Jeffries' favor

Hope DJ makes it.
The real question for me is, how many of those 3 (Hurt, Achiuwa, Watford) will Penny land?
If it’s one, I hope it’s Hurt.
If it’s two, I hope it’s Hurt and Achiuwa.

I'm the opposite.
If it's one, I want Watford. A special player that will learn from our staff.

It’s your opinion of course, but nobody really would pick Watford over Hurt.

Why don’t you poll it right here and see how it turns out?
Why does Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Duke want Hurt?

I'd rather have Watford too.
Hurt is a great player, but he's likely a 1 and done and I think Watford will be around for a couple of years.

We Hurt and Watford we are in a no lose situation if either commits.

Absolutely. I wouldn't bet on Hurt coming here. Watford, yes.

No way you pass up Hurt for Watford. If you could only get one. No way. There’s absolutely no way Penny and Miller would make that choice.

They likely won’t have a choice and it's not their call. They aren't weighing one over the other. Their choice would be to have both. That’s great. I'd say that'd be unlikely.
I’ll take Watford for the reasons I mentioned.

Not the point. If you could only pick one, you would pick Hurt. I do also understand that it’s not their choice. The point was if you could only have one of all the above, I’m picking Hurt. It’s easy. And you would too. Come on man
