The women's basketball team posted another solid game, capped by a blistering 39 point 4th quarter to come back against a high scoring Wofford team that led the SoCon in most offensive statistics, including points per game, scoring margin, field goal percentage and 3 point percentage. The Bucs are now 2-1 in conference behind leaders Mercer and Chattanooga, tied at 3-0.

The women did some things that the guys couldn't do today, hitting their free throws (21-27 for 77.8%), hitting 3's when it counted (5-14 for .357) and getting key defensive stops (leading SoCon scorer Chloe Wannink got her points, but freshman Kaia Upton kept her very quiet when ETSU made it's run). Wofford came out hot and got out to a big early lead (12-0 at the start). The Lady Bucs fought back and closed the gap gradually, but were down 3 going into the 4th quarter

It was nice to see some of the guys (Jeromy Rodriguez, Bo Hodges and Tray Boyd were there, probably others that I didn't see) support the women after a tough day for the men.

It's been a long time since I've had more fun in Brooks than at Freedom Hall

Loved listening to it on the radio and keeping up with the stats feed. I'm hoping the tough non conference schedule is making a difference during conference season. I'm hoping to attend next time they're back in town on the 31st.
