And this is football for football’s sake. At Miami, basketball was the sacrificial lamb for hockey and football. Basketball got no benefit from those buy games.

EMU MBB got slaughtered with a very, very difficult OCC schedule this season.

I don't feel it's deserving of its own thread so figured I'd just post it here. Akron is hosting Youngstown State in 2020. Between the years of 1940 and 1995 Akron and YSU played 35 times with the winner taking home the Steel Tire trophy. The game hasn't been played since 1995 and YSU currently has a 19-14-2 lead in the all-time series.
