RE: Chad Lunsford Contract Re-Worked, Extended Through 2023
Auburn would be the next big job opening that would concern me. Dollars aside (we all know any P5 has the money), he's had some time there and I think that is Sloan's ultimate place he'd like to be at as a DC. Statesboro is a 2 hour drive from Macon ... about the same drive from Macon to Auburn (2.5 hrs) ... Lunsford's wife's family is in Macon.
But if he were to get that opportunity (or one of that magnitude) that would be good for him and hopefully we could parlay that into fostering and accelerating improvements in our own program.

Lol.
I mean, sure it's possible he could get scooped up next year. I just don't think it's likely at this point.
But you go on letting us live rent free.
I know you say that this is in an App fan's head, but there is a post devoted to it. It would be different if there was not a Thread devoted to the topic and I came out talking about the extension without prompting.
Lastly, App won the Sun Belt in 2018, not Georgia Southern. Not sure who is living in who's head.

He would probably leave if Auburn came calling because it's Auburn; even if he were coaching a Canadian College Football team and his wife's family was from the North Pole.

That applies to this conversation how?
Oh it allows you to compensate.
Well in that case continue on.

It was in response to the post I quoted. "But you go on living rent free". Made me chuckle.

And nowhere was who won the Sunbelt in 2018 even relevant to what was said.
But if you wanna keep compensating, that's fine.
