Late Signing Period / Early Enrollees
What are your expectations for the later signing period? Has it become somewhat obsolete with the early signing period?
App apparently had 6 early enrollees out of 9 who signed in the early period.

RE: Late Signing Period / Early Enrollees
I didn't count them, but the video the team put out welcoming them to school last week looked to be close to that many for us. I would guess we had 5-7 or there abouts. One was the RB transfer we got from Ok St, though. We don't know whether he's going to appeal for a hardship or not and whether he'll be eligible to play this year. I hope so, but am not counting on it.

I'm of the opinion that every transfer should apply for hardship. The rule, as written, is far different than the reason for it. It's used to discourage Free Agency in College Football yet the reason given is to allow the student-athlete time to adjust to their new campus. If that were the case, true freshman shouldn't be allowed to play as well.

Agreed. Anything if they wanted it to bad enough could be considered a hardship. Add to that the NCAA, who can't get out of their own way sometimes and you have a very unscientific way of determining whether it is or is not. if Patterson can get one because he couldn't go to anymore bowl games, just about anyone should be able to. I think they will be harder on G5's though because they will have less external pressure to approve them.

I hope we end up with top 3 class. Still have room for 12-13 scholarship. The upcoming visitor list looks to be filled with solid 3 star guys, especially at skilled positions.
