And we don't feel that the Dems will come out of this worse than the GOP....unless we cave.

Cave on what? If you truly think the wall is immoral then why not propose tearing down the wall that presently exists? You see it is obvious to most sane Americans that this isn’t about a wall at all. It’s only about Trump. Politics at its most illogical.

I don't feel any of the pain from this shutdown. I do hurt for the families that are being effected by this situation, but their anger should be directed at the congressmen who refuse to fund all of the government, including the necessary protection at our boarders. This shutdown didn't need to occur.

The left can't even make a logical argument against building the wall...

Walls work pretty good for prisons. And, if they are immoral, then Pelosi and the rest of the Dim elites should remove the fences from around their expensive homes and compounds.

What a bunch of idiots. Trump won't budge on this issue, because if he does, he will lose his base. The vast majority of Trump's base is unaffected by this shutdown. On the other hand, if Pelosi doesn't budge, much of her base will not be able to pay their bills soon, and that will hurt her ability to retain her speakership, and create a huge fracture within the democrat party, between the far left and the old hippy left.

By this dude's (i.e. the former hostage negotiator) definition NY governor Andrew Cuomo is holding hostage the state legislature.

His cause? Legislation to allow abortion up to the moment prior to birth and defining "person" as "a human being who has been born and is alive."

If he doesn't get the legislation you know what he's going to do?

He will hold up the budget until he gets what he wants.

"There's going to be some more pain," he tells CNBC Make It. Trump's "base is going to have to feel it some more.

The article says ""this is what has to happen before Trump make a deal."

I'm waiting for someone in the media to write the article on, "this is what has to happen before Democrats make a deal."

Waiting..... waiting....
