We need a football PxP man for AT LEAST September.

I'm wondering if he isn't done with EMU FB given that he'll miss the first 1/3 of the season each year.

I suspect he'll be done with EMU PxP. He did a great job, and definitely deserved this position. Congrats to Shep.

I have a feeling we'll be promoting Chad Bush to full time football PxP. I really like Chad Bush and would obviously welcome that move. Chad is obviously talented, but also puts in all the work and even attends press conferences to get his questions in (most announcers don't do this). Also good for EMU radio to have a clear brand. Many schools have the announcer do both FB and hoops, which helps to form a media identity.

Agree. Chad has already done some EMU FB while Shep was away.

I think he's done. We've been lucky to have him as long as we have. Amazing that UM didn't grab him for fb when that job opened a few years ago. Shep and Rubes are a far better team then Brandstatter and Dierdorf.

Bush filled in nicely last fall.
