Buffalo could be loyola chicago this year and crash the final four? OR will ncaa give them a difficult path. I always felt they jobbed us in 1998 when we got MSU in round 1.

good week for emu football as carey leaves niu, and creighton stays? Does NIU promote from with in again or hire from the outside, Could creighton go laterally to niu? is that someone niu would want, who knows could be an interesting search.

Great job marketing team for emu basketball although i missed the event sounds like it was another success filling the lower bowl.

First, the mugs given out at the Kent State game were very nice. Second, can't see Coach Creighton moving to Northern Illinois. Oh, they would want him, but the financial situation for higher education in Illinois is a disaster, and as a coaching candidate I would think twice about going there. The folks on the Dog Pound site have mentioned that it may be a possibility of some of the directional schools being shut down to save money. Not a good sign. I realize things here in Michigan aren't great financially for higher education, but it isn't as bad as in Illinois.
As far as softball goes, I don't see it happening. There has been no talk coming from Eastern as to coaches, facilities, schedules, etc. The university called a meeting for those interested in joining the softball team and sixteen showed up. I think that was a couple of months ago.
