RE: Assistants
Who was that ex niu player who was coaching on that Florida juco team last year? You're going to have to raid lower levels like that this late in offseason now.

I'm good. I just like the idea of getting some lower level coaches. We probably cant afford many experienced FBS guys anyway.

Lower level? NIU job is a lottery ticket waiting to be paid. Carey signed for 10 mill. DD and Kill got laid even more. If
an applicant won't take this job because of $$$ , he's too dumb to be my coach. Here's 700k to sit in the waiting room for 10 mill.

Yes, if he felt it was the better path to a Payday.

If we get Kane, this is someone I can see being targeted based on where he's worked

Brian Anderson worked here previously under Kill, and was at ISU.
Howle is WIU's co OC and was a GA at NCState
Warren worked at North Chicago and Zion-Benton
Flaherty has a background with WRs and recruits the Chicago area, Florida, and Ohio for Bucknell
Gigli actually overlapped with Hammock at Minnesota
Pawlak and McAvoy are alums.

Overall Gigli and maybe Anderson seem like the most plausible to end up here.

TJ Woods, Utah State's OL Coach, is another name to keep an eye out for. They were both coaching at Wisconsin in 2013.
