I saw them at a venue not too far from there -- a place called the Mid-South Coliseum.
Found it on a list of their appearances.

Quite proud to say that in 1980 I was a member of the MSOTS, and I was at the Police concert at the High Roller. I remember leaning against the stage and watching Sting kick a guy in the face when said guy drunkenly attempted to climb up on stage.
