This is the way I would go, you have some geography in the divisions with at least a couple of schools and you have matchups that give quality conference wins. This has to matter if the belch or CUSA ever wants to take the next step to viability. Its obvious that the current models for each conference will never trump a 1 loss AAC or MWC team in the effort to get the big G5 thanks for playing bowl. Remember in 2014, undefeated Marshall was behind in the rankings to a 1 loss Boise team and Colorado State team, I don't think we would have gotten to that big bowl if we went undefeated. OOC schedule was too easy and conference schedule was even worse.

Agreed. This would be an excellent all sports conference. Would love to see something like this happen. This is the ONLY way that we can even hope to compete with the MWC/AAC.

We add to add seats to our stadium back in 88-89 to get over 30K to move up to D-1A

Marshall had to do the same thing, I think we added the seats from 28K and then expanded more in 2000? Maybe some herd fans can remember better than I can.
