"The Sun Belt will disperse the CFP money evenly among its member schools. Athletics departments can use that money for anything, such as increasing assistant coach salary pools or balancing Title IX obligations."

Bottom feeders, you're welcome.

I don't think that's right. If sunbelt gets 2mil more than CUSA, and its divided equally...167k.

Who?

Because if you are pointing at those that didn't make bowl games, some of those same teams contributed while we never the sniffed post season under Tyson.

Just saying....

our money gets split 10 ways. CUSA money gets split 14 ways.

17.2 million among 10 schools is $1,720,000 each.

15.6 million among 14 schools is $1,110,000 each.

The difference is $615,000.

RE: Sun Belt Conference to receive $17.2 million from CFP
1.1 million compared to 1.7 million is a significant difference for an athletic department. This is where over the next few years, you're going to see CUSA begin to unravel... the CUSA admins at those schools are going to realize "wait a minute, why the heck are we splitting all of this money among 14 schools, half of which don't bring crap to the table?"

The sad part: Each CUSA school is getting a lesser payout than each MAC school. Every MAC school is getting $1.16-million. Every CUSA school is getting $1.14-million. So CUSA might as well have finished last place anyways.

No, I don't think non-football schools would share in football money.

Mohajir has said they do in several interviews

From what I read, UTA and Little Rock do not share this. I've read that from multiple outlets.

I think the BBall schools get to share the TV money, but not CFP monies.

Actually I think I remember reading all 12 schools share CFP money but only the FBall10 share the bowl monies.

Why the hell would they get a share from a sport they do not sponsor?

It's a partnership, they are equity members. UTA paid the same amount to join as App and GaSo

I'm not claiming to know for sure, but why would UTA and ULR vote to add Georgia Southern and App State if they wouldn't benefit somehow?
