So for you this is what it’s all about. Trump having a legacy and Hussein having nothing to show for eight years. You don’t realize it but you lose twice in that scenario.

Huh? Personally, I'm fine with Trump's only legacy being a wall. In fact, it's fitting.

My problem is that I worry that Trump is somehow going to overplay this, if he hasn't already, and turn the country over to the democrats in 2020. That fear is why I didn't vote for him in 2016--I figured it was going to get screwed up anyway, and we were probably better off letting Hillary screw it up and hand the country to the republicans than have Trump screw it up and hand it to the democrats.

Other than Obama, I would prefer (and would like to believe), unless a total govt-socialist candidate makes it to the Presidency, they'd be a bit more cautious than doing it, Eagle, because the dam hasn't been "broken" yet (although it's had a few cracks showing).

Maybe I'm just an optimist in that regard.

Trump says this should not be difficult as democrats are making it and he has NO intention of declaring a national emergency at this time. For those who call this a manufactured crisis, the day before Trump visited the border, in that sector there were 435 apprehensions 138 of those were from places other than Central America including: Pakistan, China, Romania, Hungry and more. It's TIME to fix this and democrats need to stop playing games trying to win points and work on comprehension immigration reform AND border security and enforcement.
