The end of the half was as bad as you get. Losing guys in transition, rushed shots. UTSA is ranked 251 offensively in KenPom so 46 points is way too many. A bit unlucky because de Nicolao is making shots and he's a 10% shooter from deep on the year (3-29). Let's see the adjustments.

Agree that was an awful end to the half for us. I can’t imagine UTSA will keep up the shooting pace but we have to contest the shots - and make our easy looks. And if anyone else is watching on espn+, does it sound like Hank Hill is doing the color commentary?

Glad to see some fight but we just have some really bad stretches.

Defensive discipline has reverted back to the beginning of the season. We have no clue who we should be helping off of and who we shouldn't be.

They’re almost shooting 50% from 3 with 20+ shots too.

Those 2 charges this half are why it’s hard to win on the road.

QMB is our most impressive big man since Obi, obviously not as athletic but he has pretty good touch for a freshman big.

Just really really poor effort on defense is what lost this one. Similar to the first road trip we made this season it’s almost unwatchable on that end.

87-69 UTSA

Jackson and Wallace are 14-32 for 36 points. You take that in a heartbeat. Allen + De Nicolao being 15-26 for 39 points is just pretty sad.

Points allowed on the road this year: 86 per game. Yes, we've had a kind of difficult schedule. But that's absurdly bad.

Watching the men with one eye while at the women’s game it seemed we got close several times in the 1stH but suddenly would give up several buckets and fall back. Defensively we weren’t near the same as the last 2 games. Points off turnovers favored UTSA by 14 and we lost by 15. That and 3pt shooting doomed us.

I was at the game. Agree that (obviously) this was a defensive loss. But there was hope early in the 2nd half when we pulled within 4. In a flash, they scored 9 straight and it was over.

UTSA beats UNT 76-74...so maybe there are actually good? Who knows with this conference.
