I introduced myself as a season ticket holder and than told him congratulations. Didn’t ask what he was doing going to Philly but I can only guess.

This post is to the NIU Dog Pound what Sohaib Athar tweet on 5/1/11 was to Twitter.

RE: Breaking News
Well, I am on my flight back to Chicago from Philadelphia and can report no Rod Carey sightings on this flight home. I guess with a new million plus coaching position it allows for better flight options.

I did see on the loca Philadelphia news this morning that an official announcement will be made later today.

Our condolences. Hope you enjoyed that Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl win in 2017 because don't expect RC to get you another one during his tenure.

I would not be surprised if he won. He will need some recruiters though.

And someone to talk him out of punting on 4th and 17 from within your own 20 in the 1st quarter. 03-wink

Our best recruiter ever just came back from Baylor (DC) and is bringing a 4* CB with him from Baylor. We hired possibly the top HS FB coach in the state as our LBC, and his former program is absolutely loaded. Our STC, who is possibly the best in the country is staying. Our QBC, who is one of our top QBs in school history is staying.

If we pony up for a top-notch OC, we're going to be really, really good.

What positions do you currently have filled? I’m probably Rod’s biggest defender, but if he brings NIU’s offensive coordinator with him that is bad news. Please, bring him with.

Good times for Temple, let's see if they can execute. BTW, Temple is 1-3 against NIU. 05-stirthepot

even if he wins some games, you'll hate him since he's bad at actually coaching in the games. we won several times in spite of his inability. You'll really hate the games that you should win but he coaches the team into a loss.

Not any different than Rhule and Collins. Collins was awful.

Lol. Find us in 3 years when you're looking for a new coach again. Maybe you can poach ours again?

No recent MAC coaches win after their promotion besides Doeren.
