And yes, I know NIU's offense sucked this year, but their D was very good, and that's usually what we're better at. We'll figure it out on offense. I'd wager we have a helluva lot more talent on offense than NIU.

A lot of NIU fans would argue that we have enough talent on offense to not suck so bad on offense. Some of it is coaching and some of it is either having no talent at QB or Carey once again picked the wrong QB as starter.

Well, we're used to that since Collins picked a guy to start at QB who couldn't start at ETSU.

Thinking out loud if CC left would there be any internal candidates? I'm thinking Keen might stay. Neal Neathery would make a good head coach but probably can earn more $$$ following CC to his next job. Deboer is moving up the ladder and I thought he may be a candidate if CC is left but now he is at Indiana and again making more $$$ than being head coach here.

Keen has two years head coaching experience at Minnesota State as a long term interim HC because the regular HC had some weird legal issues.

Also Kalen DeBoer, who was a great coach at the NAIA level, is getting paid 800k to be OC at IU
