Thomas was actually the one that wanted to move over to DB, according to my friend because he knew he could likely play earlier.
McBride is a DT QB that runs a 4.5 or faster 40. Rushed for 1100 yards in HS, with 21 rushing TDs.
That being said, why isn't he starting over the other Brady? If he can't win the job look for a transfer.
I don't see a transfer at all. Especially not this early.
Brady knows (the most important factor) and runs the offense very well. I think there will be a very healthy QB battle this spring and fall camp, and am really looking forward to it.
How much longer would he wait? White has 2, possibly 3 more yrs left and Norvell loves the guy.
He's got 1 possibly 2 more years (really bad math there) and he knows and runs the offense well. If McBride, who is a coach's son, learns the offense as well... he has a very good shot of playing.
Announcers stated on the UCF telecast that it may be possible somehow he gets 3 yrs. Not sure what they were going off of or if they just miscalculated. I'd hate to think we gotta watch him another 3 seasons.

Has the NCAA quit pretending that the Graduate program not offered at current school rule even exist anymore?

Would it be nice to have a mobile QB? YES. We haven't had a mobile QB since we started winning. Lynch had some mobility. The Tiger offense needs an accurate passer, that is job one. But I am pretty sure MN and staff could figure out a way to use Hurts if we were lucky enough to get him.
I guess we haven’t been watching the same team. Both Lynch and Ferguson were pretty mobile. Not great runners, but could move in the pocket. White has zero mobility and teams have no respect for our RPO.
You are correct that we aren't seeing the same thing. Lynch was very mobile. If you say White has zero mobility, you are just wrong.
They might have no respect for our RPO because of the WRs and it has nothing to do with White, but why let things like facts get in the way?!
:cogs:White is slow and also goes down easily with just a feather touch by a tackler. He can not scramble at all. Not impressed.

So which has more to do with those stats...QB ability or offensive line.
If I remember correctly the majority of of our Oline was all conference.
I think the point is that those bagging on White for being immobile quickly forgot how peg-legged Riley was his 1st year.
The next season, Riley was better about escaping the sack and running. It also didn't hurt that Henderson became a full time home run threat, Taylor emerged, and Anthony Miller was at his disposal.
Hopefully Brady can make some of the same adjustments Riley did. Although Brady won't have the weapons that Riley did.
