National Championship Discussion
Fiancé is a Clemson grad. Baka looks like trash.

I figured Bama would win but they suck right now.

I'm thinking Bart Starr, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Trevor Lawrence.

Game in a nutshell: Bama couldn’t make one play when it mattered. Clemson made every play when it mattered

Those teams play a different sport than we do. They are big, strong, fast, just at a whole ‘nother level.

So -- even Nick Saban makes bad decisions when he does not have a kicker he can rely on. You would think they would have two or three kickers on the team better than that. Oh -- and I loved the Clemson win!

Same sport. What you saw is what is possible when a program has practically unlimited resources available to them. These two programs have taken the resources available to many other P5 programs and built powerhouses. Hats off to them. No G5, and many P5 programs will never have such advantages.

RE: National Championship Discussion
Dabo Swinney is a heck of a coach. He has a feel good story from underdog to now a household name. Former walk on at Alabama, fired from Alabama after the 2001 season, spent a few years away from football doing real estate. Dabo has won 3 national championships 1 as a player and 2 as a coach.

He said something last night after the game to the effect of "won't be no Tide in Bama tonight, our guys drain the swamp"

He is young at like 50 I wonder if he'll ever leave Clemson for the Alabama job when Saban retires. Saban earns twice as much as Dabo right now.

Clemson played one of the best games (execution wise) I have ever seen last night! Bama had NO answer and Bama is no "cheesecake"! And to think they did it with a freshman QB. Incredible!!

Only thing I was like "whatever" about was in his post game interview. "If we can do it anyone can." *cough* bs *cough*. But man that was a clinic they put on!

Amazing how much Lawrence has developed. Granted, I don't watch much P5 football, but the last time I saw him play I really wasn't that impressed.

You probably didn't notice him because the media was to busy with Tua's jock in their mouth to tell you about him.

Reminds me of the Zion Blue Devils. Does anyone else play on that team?

Yes, RJ Barrett. He's the one that shoots 47 times per game.

Best meme I saw last night:

The last thing to smack Alabama this hard was the Civi Rights Act of 1964.
