Former Bronco to coach Packers
Pack set to hire Matt Lafleur as Head Coach. Member of WMU 1998 and 1999 teams. Listed as a WR. Walk on I believe. Transferred to SVSU and lit up the GLIAC as a QB. OC for Titans last season. Great coaching background!

I think he married a girl from Southwest Michigan as well. Good luck to Matt!

As a Packer owner (one of 360,000) I am underwhelmed.

He's called plays for one year - this past fall - and Titans ranked 25th in NFL total offense, 27th in points. Scored less than 20 in half their games.

Titans don't have a QB that can stay healthy. Corey Davis would be top 3 WR if he could get the ball more often.

Seriously! With all the prestige of this job we couldn't do any better? What happened to mcdaniels?

RE: Former Bronco to coach Packers
Packers' biggest problem wasn't McCarthy or his offense.

He was too loyal to Capers as DC and waited too long to make change.

But - best players (including Rodgers) are getting old and often injured (Matthews, Perry, Bulaga, Bakhtiari etc.) and they haven't had an All-Pro WR, TE or RB for years.

Packers build through the draft and player development, seldom through Free Agency because millionaires don't want to live in the Frozen Tundra.

Now that Aaron is getting $33m a year, they won't have money for FAs or second contracts for players they draft-develop until he retires.

Good luck to LaFleur, he'll need it.

They do have an All Pro WR: Davante Adams.

Not true. Adams has been selected to Pro Bowl last two years but never been All-Pro.

There is a difference.

Not saying he's not a good one because he is. But Pack doesn't have enough to go with him and AA-Rod.

I always thought some players have diminishing returns. Keep your great QB, or have a good QB with a pro bowl blocker and pass catcher for the same price.
