Buffalo should be a 2 seed if they win out. Of course corruption reigns supreme with the committee and the NET rankings, so who knows

2 seed? They beat 1 ranked team in wvu. Not to diminish that win, but there are a lot of resumes out there with multiple wins over ranked teams.

Not only that but WVU has tanked since then and is off to an 0-4 start in the Big 12. Buffalo has some sneakily solid wins over good mid majors but given the committee's recent penchant for screwing the little guy I think Buffalo is a bubble team if they were to slip up 3-4 times in the MAC.

If Buffalo wins out , would they get the 2?

No, the best they can finish IMO is with a 3 seed. They only have 2 Q1 wins and because of the way the MAC has devoured itself they won't be able to pick up any additional ones.

My guess is Buffalo would top out at a 4 because the committee really scrutinizes the Top 4 seeds (Top 16 teams) as to who is really deserving of a 1 seed, 2 seed ect.

So Buffalo could go into the selection sunday with a Top 8 rating in the NET which would normally translate into a 2 seed but end up with a 4 seed instead because of not enough quality wins.

Below the Top 4 seeds I think they are going to be relatively loyal to the NET rating. If they finish the season at 21 they'll be somewhere between a 5 and 6 seed. They aren't going to throw them an 11 seed for a record of 30-3 with a conference tournament championship just to be jerks.
