I don't fault him so much for the losses early on for that reason. I fault him for little progress, last year and early this year. But, as other have mentioned, he has certainly made some good adjustments recently, and they have paid off. Hoping he's turned the corner

I do agree with you. It's got to continue to improve. It's been slower than we wanted, but it is going in the right direction. But I am also afraid we are going to have some hiccups this season. Hopefully, if we do, they will be few and far between.

Just to for the record 33....UNCW did PM me to gauge my interest in the job, but I just couldn't pull the trigger and felt coaching my youngest son's 6th grade team was just too important. Looking at the team lately, I'm glad that they found the right man and some pretty good "Jimmy's and Joe's".

If it somehow doesn't work out with the current staff (less likely scenario now since they look better), I'm pretty sure that Hawking is the first guy they will now PM for an interview!
