My take on the bonus play schedule
I've been meaning to figure out the round Robin format, here is my guess

#1 seed hosts #2 and #3 visits #4 and #5
#2 seed hosts #3 and #4 visits #1 and #5
#3 seed hosts #4 and #5 visits #1 and ##2
#4 seed hosts #1 and #5 visits #2 and #3
#5 seed hosts #1 and #2 visits #3 and #4

This would give the highest Net bump

RE: My take on the bonus play schedule
What you've outlined makes sense, even though it might make for a miserable travel arrangement - - say for example that ODU is #1 seed and UTEP/UTSA are 4 and 5.

A less plausible approach, but one that may be more fair, is the playground method:

--> #1 seed selects all of its home and away matches.
--> #2 seed selects all except the location of its game against #1.
--> If both home games or both away games for #4 or #5 have been reserved by #'s 1 and 2, then #3 will need to take the vacant away or home slot. But if not, it gets to choose.
--> And so on for #4.
--> # 5 goes where it's told.

I don't know if everyone detail of your outline is correct, but I do know that this is generally how it will go.

Not only that, it will get even worse when travel partners are in different pods. Also, I haven't read/heard on the order of home/away games. So you could potentially be home then to UTEP, then to Marshall, etc.
