QMB putback puts Rice up 61-58 with 5:30 left

La Tech hits a couple baskets to go back up 1. Peterson got to the spot and then freaked out on one possession and on the next QMB went in for a power dunk and got blocked. Then Parrish with a perimeter block

Love the fight. Regardless of outcome. We've been solid defensively. Fine against a decent defense.

Jack Williams 3 puts Rice back up 2, 64-62 with 3:30ish left. La Tech fouled on the drive

Phenomenal set by Rice on offense, followed by just as a bad a breakdown on defense.

La Tech misses both free throws, and Ako hits a big 3 to go up 67-62, but then La Tech's Bracey hits a driving layup and gets fouled, but misses the free throw. Adams misses a three, Williams offensive board and is fouled. Mullins then fouled near midcourt on the trap. He hits both free throws. Rice up 69-64 with 2:30 left

La Tech misses, Rice dribbles most of the shot clock away and then is forced to take a rushed, bad shot and misses, but La Tech misses again. 1:30 left, still 69-64, Rice ball

We'll lose this game if we dribble out the clock and then throw out a prayer. Use some clock, but still run some actions. Get a shot with 5-10 seconds left instead of a heave as the shot clock expires. Can't afford to play prevent offense.

Martin makes both, 10 point lead. La Tech drives and Parrish makes an absolutely clean block that is called for a foul somehow
