RE: Kent State Basketball Alumni in the pros
I was checking in on the international basketball site - I saw Derek Jackson had a good season for Swiss Central in the top Switzerland league, even though they finsied out of the playoffs. Jumping over to the league leaders, I saw Jackson finished 2nd in the league with 5.3 APG - behind Xavier Pollard, who had 5.4. Pollard also led the league in PPG at 22.3, for Lugano. Jackson had 2 'Player of the Week' awards for the league, and Pollard had 1. Jackson also led the league in Steals per game with 3.1

Pray for him. I suppose he can only go up from where that program is now.

He didn't get it. Which is probably good for him.

RE: Kent State Basketball Alumni in the pros
If you can't beat them, join them - Xavier Pollard moves from 8th-place Lugano to Swiss Champions Fribourg...

"Defending champion Fribourg Olympic (SBL) tabbed 27-year old American guard Xavier Pollard (193-95kg-91, college: Kent State). played most recently at Lugano Tigers. In 27 SBL games in Switzerland he was the best scorer with impressive 22.3ppg and recorded 5.1rpg, 5.4apg (leader !!!) and 1.4spg last season. Pollard helped them to make it to the Supercup final. Good season as he was selected League Player of the Week.
The previous (17-18) season he played at BBC Arantia Larochette (Total League) in Luxembourg league where in 14 games he was second best scorer with remarkable 26.1ppg and averaged 8.5rpg, 4.7apg (top 5) and 2.4spg (leader !!!). Pollard contributed to his team winning the league title.
He is a very experienced player.
Pollard graduated from Kent State in 2016 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball."

Saw this several times in the above write-up. Anyone know what a “closely-ranked team” is?

I wonder if Armon would consider joining him if he offered him the associate head coach position?
