Through thick and thin. And it was historically thick during the eight game win streak. It was unpleasant to witness the turd’s three fall last night, but it doesn’t touch how sweet it felt to watch BJ put the dagger in vcu at the end of the game a few weeks ago. I will cherish that memory for years.

22 game winning streak. Final record 25-4. If I remember right, uva was one of the first victims in that streak too. Now, that was a squad. Wasn’t that our very first year in D-1 ?

I'll be there. I sat through every game when we won 5 games lol. Anyway, I will give you the 'thick and thin' but I think you misspoke when you said historic. This program has fallen quite a bit in the last decade if we start thinking an 8 game win streak is history.

I’m curious - reading through these comments should we go to the game and root for our team or show up only because we invested $ in season tickets expexecting a loss with disappointment to protect our investment . Thursday’s game was an awesome college basketball atmosphere and a great game that we fell short on and it didn’t take long for the comments found 8 games ago to surface . The bookies have us as a 4.5 point favorite perhaps we stand a chance to win . Saturday night basketball ? Good opponent ? I can’t think of any other reason to support the guys ..

Please show up and put as much effort in as we do on this message board. If we could come up with energy a few times a game that we did at the 4 minute mark, it would be a lot tougher place to play. Have to give it to the DJ, he got folks up at that point (other than some of us “crazies” who were already up begging the others to stand and make noise)

Absolutely mac. And Jeff Furhman broke his arm near the end of that season and it wrecked our post season chances. He was a pure shooter in the Mark Poag mold.
