Is it normal to have so many doubleheaders? I'm guessing some of those are tournaments as it would be impossible to play 2/16 at home against Rutgers and then at Texas A&M.

Either way, I like this schedule a lot more than the baseball team which doesn't get many big series and only a handful of P5 teams (just a few at home).

Unlike baseball who play Fri, Sat, Sun..... most softball play a double header one day and a single game the next, or the day before. And, yes, LU is in a number of tournaments this season.

Perfect weekend for baseball and softball, both with sweeps.

Well the good news, the baseball team swept this weekend. The bad news, they should have... Maine is (0-9). Our next three opponents are for real though... Va. Tech, S. Florida, Virginia.

Baseball (9-3) knocked off Va. Tech (8-3) 4-3.

Baseball (11-4) took 2/3 on the road at South Florida this weekend.
Softball (15-9) only went 2/5 on the weekend in California.

Wow, we whooped Virginia 14-5 in baseball today!
