Nancy’s new house rules get rid of the requirement to keep budget debate within the debt ceiling.
They believe the nation has spoken because they succeeded in getting control of the house with what amounts to a few thousand votes across the country. Meanwhile republicans picked up seats in the senate with far wider ranging votes. The next two years will be great political theater.

Someday in the not too distant future, Pelosi is going to have a 1 to 1 with AOC. WHEN AOC emerges from that there will be a chunk of flesh missing from her rear.
