Coaches conference ended yesterday. Wilder and Blackwell were supposed to have interviewed position coach candidates. Hopefully they make some announcements soon. February signing period coming up.

Wilder said recently he will have a full staff in place by January 13, so any day now we should hear something.

We hired 2 defensove coaches. One close to blackwell and a P5 coach

So now just need a TE coach...

Also some of new players are on campus, the rest today and tomorrow. Returners by Sunday I think.

I have been gone all day, have they announced the coaches yet ? I think people will be really excited about one of the defense of coaches who will start to take over the defense of staff of a P5 squad before an u fortunate incident.

We need the S&C guys here now. The players are arriving

From the descriptions, I'm guessing another ECU coach and one from UMD, but I'm in the dark otherwise on this one.

I hope someone makes a run at Chip West ! He was with UNCC under Lambert.

What's scary about us not re-committing long-term to this staff? Seems pretty sensible if they're in a prove it year.

The lack of confidence on likely both sides. This will surely help secure our top recruits and elevate our recruiting ranking. He should have signed a multi year contract with options.

Ummm. Y'all were the ones that had a hissy-fit when the last staff signed a two-year deal, correct?

I was fine with it following a Bowl season but recruiting and on field performance did not grow on that success.

The writing was on the wall AFTER the bowl season. BW and co have never been great recruiters. And the cupboard was about to be bare following the bowl season.

Those 2 year contracts and BW extension shouldn’t have occurred until the coaching staff proved themselves the following year

I just know the right janitor. And I think someone else said tmw, the 13th.
