Which is down from 541.7 yds per game the season before when he was not DC.

Because we have had a whopping 1 winning season in the last 4!!!!

So, USF had the 32nd best defense in 2009 and Leavit left and he had to move on. Looks like solid jobs at Fordham and Jacksonville State.

ECU had the worst defense by far in college football in 2017 and improved to number 82 in 2018. That seems like a solid job. Coaches in NC love the guy, which may help recruiting.

It will be a bit of a change because we will have a more aggressive defense as he's known for trying exotic blitzes. Seems like a pretty good hire to me. Probably better than I would have expected.

Sam is referencing what Maine did to JaxSt in this year's playoffs, a year after he left. Ridiculous.

I agree ! I like the fact that he is from EZU and has coached at the FBS level.

On the surface this looks like a much better hire than most people on this board had feared. Hopefully there will be a decent rise in the level of the Monarchs defensive play next season.

JOB #1 though is for him to meet with the 6 defensive commits who have yet to sign and their families. We need all of them to sign.
