At least in the Western World, we basically celebrate 3 of the 4 seasons - with one season curiously missing. Granted these celebrations are more or less repurposed today, we still commemorate the Spring Equinox (Easter), Fall Equinox (Halloween) and the Winter Solstice (Christmas). The U.S. lucked out with a 'Summer Solstice' celebration thru Independence Day; however, it's not universal like we see with the other 3 celebrations above in the Western World.

I don't know if any of you ever wondered about it before, but it recently struck me and I'm curious to see what you guys think.
