Agreed. I had a difficult time hearing the pregame on the way to campus, and postgame heading home.

UAB has no problem shooting the three ball against D2 teams. UAB was 13-24 against West Alabama and 9-19 against Arkansas Monticello.

It is so much easier to chip away and tear it down than it is to build it up.

the stations next to it on the dial came in quite clear. 100.3 and 100.7 I believe.

Maybe he didn’t get what he wanted for Christmas and just took it out on the team.

I was just curious if it was disciplinary, or if we're trying to improve conditioning. If we can't be the most talented team, we might as well be the most well-conditioned team.
Looks disciplinary
How would you know?

RE: Game thread - Ark Monticello
I have been to all but one home game, and have said all along this team is not very good. Others have seen more potential than I have, and keep talking about the team turning the corner soon. I hope that happens, but honestly don't see a chance.
If I had to bet between finishing in the top four or the bottom four of C-USA, I would go with the bottom. I know there are some bad teams in our league, but I don't expect more than 4 or 5 conference wins, total. Unless some of that aforementioned potential suddenly rises to the surface and we start playing better. I'll take it if it happens.
The bright spot of the year was hanging with the Auburn team for 45 minutes, and I think Ehsan did a great job of coaching that night. But still it was a loss.
I will be there, and I will continue to support this team, but my expectations are at an all-time (as in, 40 year) low.

Sports teams "gell" at varied times during a season - if ever. We will have to wait to see when/if this year's edition gets its act together. Either way, this is the team we have no matter the results. There will be a lot of evaluation time of who to blame/congratulate in April.

I know preachers aren’t supposed to bet, but I would bet a lot of money against you on the 4 to five wins and bottom four in the conference.

RE: Game thread - Ark Monticello
I can't recall too many times when we expected UAB to be in the bottom of the league (in any league) for men's hoops.
I wouldn't expect it this year either.
Going 500 or a game or two above or below it in the conference would not be too off base on expectations.

I would never bet against UAB, because I wouldn't want to win my bet. And I certainly don't want to be right with those predictions.
And for the record, my "bet" was bottom four vs. top four, and I still think we have a better chance of being on the low end than the top. I just think people have very unrealistic expectations for this team. Again, I would love to be wrong.

Interesting to ponder though if Haase had stayed at UAB would we be calling for his head now instead of Ehsan's?

Exactly the egotistical response I was expecting.
But you knew that already.
