Most of the time they show up mad and leave madder.

You'll just have to overlook the stAte fans. A lot of them aren't happy being in the SBC. They're waiting (quite impatiently, I might add) for their call to the Big XII.

Our normal fans are pretty cool. Our traveling fan base is nuts. Mostly players parents, which I think has something to do with it.

Paulson Stadium at # 16? Seriously?

Where’s that meme of the train running off the tracks?

Another case of MetooU.

More like #ThemToo

We didn't start it.

That’s why I quoted CatMom. She should know better ;>}
Meh, they're subjective rankings based on fan votes. I can't fathom who ranked Paulson high on all of the metrics. 07-coffee3

App's twitter just posted this image of the mock up of KBS sans track + West side dorms and field house construction.

I have a question for Coastal fans .
The woods next to 544 across from the stadium next to soccer stadium.
They are clearing those woods and doing site work.
What is going there ? my guess would be parking good tailgating spot.
I like how you see directly into the stadium driving up the hill towards Conway now.

Capacity?

Saw three flatbeds this morning bringing in some of the remaining steel needed to finish. I wonder if the bowl game will mean a quicker expansion to mid twenties.

What is the largest attendance ever recorded for a sporting event at The Brook?

Never mind, I found it. It was 16,991 in October of 2017 in a loss to Georgia State.
IMO, 20,000 capacity should suffice for the time being.03-thumbsup

Your right CCU just has no history it will take time.
I went to basketball games thirty years ago my high school gym was much bigger Flint Central. USC -Coastal back then they have come a long way fast. Adding football was a game changer. The baseball national championship and joining the SBC have added to their growth. I just wonder if the bowl people will push for more seats. Maybe try to move up the ladder for better teams one day. SBC vs MAC champ makes sense in Myrtle Beach MAC fans vacation here anyway.

I'd be curious to know what the App fans think who attended this years game in Paulson. If you attended and left not pleased about the rivalry despite the loss you ain't right in the head. Absolutely electric atmosphere that I would argue would rival the best in the country. The crowed was completely in every second of the game singing in unison, constant defining chants, lighters lite up the stadium during song.

I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I hadn't been flipped off and told FU like 3 dozen times. It is certainly anything but a "friendly" rivalry, and I could never take my kids to that game. We decided to find a random seat in the upper deck just to avoid all the confrontation. Aside from that, the students' passion was awesome.

I would actually disagree with the bolded part. Everyone has their idiot fans and neither of our fan bases are 100% angels by any means. But I think the good outweighs the bad on both sides, at least in my experience. I have been to Boone three times and had nothing but a great time each year. I had no issues and had some good conversations with your fans. I try to do the same when I see your fans in Paulson. I however have friends that have experienced the same thing you posted about Paulson while in Boone. I think it depends on how much we interact with or are near the students. For the most part, the students tend to have the hardest time being nice to fans from other schools.
