I understand. The warm weather. Forests, mountains, deserts and beaches all within driving distance. Successful professional franchises in all major sports. P6 quality academic institutions. World class cities like San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. It's not for everyone.

I couldn't imagine chewing tobacco in Greenville or growing up with NASCAR either.

Hey ese, North Carolina has mountains, forests, and beaches, too. We just have less human poop on the streets, fewer homeless people, lower taxes, forest fires that actually get extinguished, and English is the official language.

This. After living in both states, NC hands down. California is beautiful but the people in LA/SF/Sacramento make it miserable. San Diego is about the only tolerable part.

This is demonstrably false. Our RPI has been top 120 for the last 3 years. Top 100 for the last two. In 2017, our OOC RPI was better than our RPI factoring in conference play. In 2016, same story. Only in 2018 was our OOC RPI worse than our overall, and the conference still finished 4th.

We help the conference by providing a solid bottom and it’s what helps the conference be consistently high in the rankings. Perhaps if ECU could do the same in the rest of the sports, people wouldn’t wish they hadn’t been invited...

Again, look at overall football record between ecu vs cinni and you will see who has best record (ecu) year in and year out......go Pirates:)
