I believe just getting autographs is no issue. Getting them on campaign literature or campaign hats, buttons or signs is however.

Additionally, as long as the president doesn't bring the hats, signs, etc. I don't think you can really fault him.

The troops should know not to bring the hats. And especially the girl I believe who actually showed up with a campaign flag.

Went to a family dinner last evening - party of 14. In the banquet room they had TVs, and one of them was turned to CNN. From the time we sat down (5:50 PM) until we left (roughly 8:30 PM), I saw negative stories that mentioned Trump during this entire span. I didn't watch the TV continuously, but JFC you would think that periodically looking at the TV at random times the news would have been more varied. Pathetically, it appeared to be non-stop. I'm not a Trump bot. I think overall he has done a lot of good things and I think there are a number of things he's whiffed on (or never intended to do like he promised). Be that as it may, the guy overall is significantly better at running the country than Obama ever was. You'd have no idea if you watched CNN for all of your info though. What a shltty network it has turned into.

I have made two recent overseas trips of about one week's duration, with a female friend who voted for Hillary. Both times, the only US news channel available was CNN. Both times, she has complained about how CNN was dominated by Trump-bashing.

CNN has given up any pretense about unbiased reporting. They might try to put the genie back in the bottle after Trump is out of office, but for now, they are obviously trying to present a counterpoint to the Trump lovefest on FOX. Neither are providing anything approaching unbiased reporting.

CNN has crossed the Rubicon and will probably always be seen as “fake news” from here on out. Still amazing to see a news network sacrifice it’s most valuable asset over a singl political candidate. CNN is finished as a news network. At this point they could get better ratings with lumber jack competitions.
