Can the fact that we're having one not be enough? People always have to find something to complain about on here...

Well, a least a third of our team won't be here.

Why would you care? It's not like you would show up.
All the sucky UAB fans will somehow have to make up for your absence.
Kinda like they always do.

Might be getting into some title IX issues. If it’s for winning a meaningless bowl game, well I guess we have money to burn then
Tell the Players... Coaches... who bust their tails to bring home the hardware that it's meaningless. Or the fans who shelled out 100's/1000's of dollars to go and support. Or DA... who was carted off the field after sacrificing his body for the team. What is meaningless, is your disdain for UAB football. It's getting really old. If you don't care... why you post on the thread?
Maybe it's for the bowl victory. When other sports win a bowl, they get a parade. Or maybe it's for beating the UA BOT and Ray Watts. When the other programs win a conference championship after having the program shut down... let's throw them a parade. Or maybe... it's for you. Maybe you can finally participate in something positive that is football related instead of digging deep to find something to be critical of, then throwing a fit when someone gripes about Ehsan who Ws & Ls speak for themselves.

Who is paying for it? City of Birmingham... UAB... Sons of UAB... We don't know...
Who's going to be in it? Football... All sports teams... We don't know
Will it actually happen? Hopefully... But We don't know.
Until we know these things... then title 9 is not an issue. Unless you want to make up things to gripe about.

Guy wears people out about being negative and critical of a subpar UAB basketball team and coach but then turns around and nitpicks a parade for the best UAB football team in history. Repeatedly says UAB fans suck but never shows up at any events. UAB fans don't suck but our basketball program and its Best Internet Fan do.
TOTAL BS. UAB Blazer Football has EARNED that ******* parade.

I would agree that there are too many bowls but having 10+ SEC teams in a bowl should be addressed first instead of the 6th CUSA team.

I think it would be simply delightful to start the parade at the Administration Building and go down University to Legacy Pavilion.

RE: Championship Parade!!!
I haven't the slightest knowledge of why Jan 18th at 4pm was chosen or by whom the choice was made, but it is not an event UAB has had a lot of experience planning. As for recruiting, it is 19 days before NSD on Wed. Feb. 6th so maybe FBHC Clark had a hand in the choice - or maybe it was the only open date on Watts' schedule.
