UTEP will most likely not have their leading scorer Evan Gilyard for tonight's game. Gilyard missed the game against UC-Riverside. Gilyard is averaging 18 pts and 5 rebs so far this season.

Look for Ole Miss to destroy MT this evening. Too Bad cause we have a pretty good history performing at Bridgestone Arena. And, we actually hold a 6-4 advantage in games won in this rivalry with the Rebels.

If UAB plays decent defense and does not let Troy get going on offense they should get a win.
Troy is not a bad team, Hicks and Varnado can play with anyone, their 3 seniors did the most damage against WKU.
Not a cupcake but a team you should dispatch of at home for sure. One of the better SBC teams.

Southern Miss beats South Dakota on the road 66 - 60.

7 of 22 free throws hurts my feelings. These kids need to spend a whole week just playing Knockout and the first one out each time has to do major pushups.

At least you attempted free throws. USM was 3-4 but didn’t attempt our first FT until there was 21 seconds left in the game. South Dakota was 16-20 from the FT line

That seems preposterous that South Dakota didnt commit one single shooting foul for almost the entire game. Nobody is that disciplined.

On CUSA TV the announcers said the refs were at the monitor to see if he walked after losing initial possession. Maybe the refs reviewed to see if he got the shot off before the buzzer? Which I'm pretty sure he did...

They didn't review traveling. They reviewed whether he got the shot off in time. They ruled he did not and Troy won the game.

4 out of 5 losses. And our only win was over South Dakota. Yes. This conference is a joke!
