RE: Last 10 Tigers MBB Coaches
North Carolina Central does what we should do most years - be an AQ.

Until we make the Tournament this season, they have been a better program.

Okay... that's just a ridiculous statement. Put even our most putrid teams over the past 6 years in their conference, and we win it as well.

But we aren't.

And with our resources, it's disgraceful how long it has been since we have been an AQ.

11 more wins he will be 78-32. 78+32=110. 78/110 =.709 That would barely push him past Pastner no where near Cal.

20 more straight wins would put him at 87-32. That would put him at .731. Past Bartow but still behind Cal and Kirk.

30 more straight wins puts him at 97-32. That would have him at .751. Past Kirk but still behind Cal.

40 more straight wins puts him at 107-32. That would have him at .770 and STILL behind Cal.

All that may be true. But we ain't playin' in a depleted CUSA anymore like Cal was.

What does that have to do with the cost of tea in china? The guy made an erroneous statement and I just corrected his math. Why so defensive?

AGAIN what does Pastner's % have to do with the guy's erroneous claim that 11 straight (now 10 straight) more wins would put him .005% behind Cal?

When 40 straight would still have him .015% behind Cal.

You keep focusing on Pastner when the erroneous statement had nothing to do with Pastner.

Why not just admit the erroneous statement and be over it instead of getting defensive and trying to rationalize it by changing the parameters of the statement?

11 (now 10) straight more wins is .709.

Is .709 just .005% behind .789?

Yes or No?

The question is why are YOU so defensive. I'm not disputing anything you said. Just adding context.

Do you even know what context means?

The context of the original statement had to do with Penny compared to Calipari.

And ONLY Penny compared to Calipari.

"win more 11 in a row and Penny is .005% behind Calipari. or go 23 and 2 in regular season and walk by cal."

Penny compared to Cali is FULL CONTEXT.

You're not adding context your trying to change the direction of the conversation.
