RE: Tigers Coaches
When Coach Hardaway has four years of full recruiting, I predict those teams will be consistently in the Top 20. For him to possibly be in the hunt for a spot in the NCAA tournament this year, without a year of recruiting, tells me Coach Hardaway and company do a pretty good job of recruiting. Even Calipari said, after Coach Hardaway took DJ Jeffries and Wisman, that he might not be as good recruiting.

May seem comical but I don't think it's far fetched given all the local and national talent he'll bring in. I believe he could've been in the Final Four in year one had the Lawsons been on the team. Where would Bill Self be without Dedric or Vick? I don't think they are a tourney team if you take those Memphis kids off his roster. That's how loaded the talent is in this city and Penny will keep the guys he wants home. He'll be cutting down the nets within 5 years.
Lack of continuity with his staff may hurt Penny more than the lack of influx with talent.
That's the second time I've heard that in a week. Is there something out there on this? Because I've always thought Madlock and Miller were here for 2-3 years at least. I believe Sam wants to be a HC again, so I could see that. But losing just 1 guy every couple of years is not abnormal.
Madlock is here until a HC job comes his way.
In other words Madlock is staying put.

Penny's gonna be a great coach man. Especially when he gets the athletes to fit his system and then once they start developing the skill. Cant wait.

Fred Graham had 22, Joe1's unnatural obsession and Bob Vanatta had 24 their first year. Eugene Lambert had 25. Finch had 26.

Yeah, I knew he wasn't the 1st of all Tiger coaches, just between him and Cal. I remember hearing it said he was tied, but I didnt remember if it was during yesterdays game, or todays.
