Wow tough way to lose Memphis. From experience I know WF gets up for and prepares well for bowl games. Good game though and looking forward to playing y’all next year.

Santa Clause came early and delivered a false start.

We didn't deserve to win that game. That was on the coaching. I could call a better game.

No it’s not. Memphis can’t run the same offense with White. Cant extend plays with his feet. Can’t stretch the field with his arm. Our running game only last so long because teams don’t respect his arm. That’s the reason!

That sucks. Memphis offense did a vanishing act for too long.

Boot Memphis add Wake Forest.

Wake Forest came on strong at the end of the season I'm not surprised they played Memphis really tough. I think Memphis may have underestimated them wake was hungry.
Good game I watched the whole thing after I saw that UConn was going to get blown out

I disagree. Although I'm pissed as hell right now, I feel a heck of a lot better than walking out of the last New Orleans bowl. That was embarrassing.

Just came back from dinner but was following the game on my phone while eating. Can anyone explain to me why Norvel went for a 2 point conversion after taking the lead? A conversion makes a 6 point lead versus a 5 point lead with a 1:20 left.

I don't see an advantage going for 2 points. If anything I see a potential big disadvantage. If you need your FG kicker later on, it's better to kick the extra point to give him some reps and confidence. Instead he received neither and missed the kick. Again, I didn't see the kick so perhaps I missing something on the kick (bad snap, bad hold, etc. ?).

Can someone clarify the kicking situation? Thanks!

Had been 11 for 11 on bowl games so far. Thought for sure Memphis had this.
