In the future they can start adding points for players who forgo the Bowl game to reduce injury chances.

I shouldn't say this because it would add points to the bowl my team is in, but... add 3 points for any bowl game played in a baseball park or soccer stadium.

Geographic location should be a factor, as well.

Going to Boca Raton in mid/late December makes a lot more sense than going to Boise or Pontiac, MI (remember the Cherry Bowl?)
