Was reminded of Eric Doke a FR RB. Was well recruited but blew out abknee his Sr. Season, has anyone heard on his health and how has he looked. He has size and strength like Harbison.

Unfortunately Doke, blew out the same knee in the summer (right before camp) and is still in the recovery process. He did not practice all year. Hope he makes it completely back.

I also noticed that Love is listed as a RB... https://niuhuskies.com/roster.aspx?roste...h=football

Was he recruited as an RB or as a WR???

Obviously Love is going to be the next DJ Brown/Argeros Turner/Akeem Daniels type of player. Hopefully, he'll make a bunch of big plays.

Hopefully more like the ladder two. Daniels and Turner both were really quick. DJ Brown was quick, but not like them. They were part of the reason the Jet sweep actually used to work because they were fast enough to get to the outside. Need more speed on this team asap.

I'll never forget when we lost to Lousiana Tech in the bowl game and the one returner Rivas burned NIU all game. After that game Kill said how NIU was going to focus on getting more speed like that on the team. He delivered with Daniels and Hopkins. Then Doeren with TLL and Turner. Since Turner left, haven't really had that type of player IMO.
