8-7 UTRGV at the under-16. Better start on defense.

Owls up 4 with 1:20 to go with the ball. Video is fine - the UTRGV gym is kind of interesting looking.

Rice up 31-25 at the half. Mullins already looking like it's his team.

RE: Rice at UTRGV
For all the work I've given Peterson with his shooting woes, he might be our best passer on the team. Really smart player who's clearly trying to help the team in other ways through his struggles. Like the aggressiveness of Mullins. Don't think he's necessarily a PG in the long run, but hopefully he can turn some of these drives into assists.

Also, good defensive performance. In the 1st half. Against a mid-major...again. Until I see UTRGV not score 40+ in the second half, I'll hold anymore praise.

Owls up 13, 42-29. Have to keep it going. This would be a nice road win to get.

Someone's been working on his free throws. QMB is 5-6 from the line tonight. Also already has 11 points and 11 rebounds.

RE: Rice at UTRGV
Rice wins by 8 - probably our best win of the year although I doubt many people realize that. UTRGV is okay - they beat UTA on the road and North Dakota at home. I think we were helped by UTRGV looking ahead (they host Texas Thursday).

Four freshmen scored in double figures (Mullins 22, Murphy 13, Peterson and QMB 12 apiece).

The bad news is this is apparently our last win of the season.

All but 10 pts scored by the freshmen.

A complete game effort, vastly improved free throw shooting, and a road win is a road win.

Glad to be proved wrong about the second part.

I don’t think Parrish played at all...

8 man rotation. The freshmen, Martin, Adams, and Williams.
