It wasn't TALON that brought the fun stuff to your board. If you look back their were plenty of great GSU fans, hopefully TalonTalk posters & some Flight Line posters brought a little smack and fact to the EMU board that you may have enjoyed.

As you have read on your board the Trash talk was not overboard & was just enough to peek interest in the game for the EMU fans.

If you went to http://www.gsufans.com. you found a board called TalonTalk.
That board was donated in my name in late 1990's to take myself and other trash talkers off the main board. I was very active from that time, up until Paul Johnson left in 2001, then picked up again under Head Coach Monken. 1aa or FCS trash talk was good during the regular season and better during the playoffs. GSC/GSU was a big deal in 1aa and everyone loved to hate us.

One of 2 Main Points

While the TalonTalk board has been down the last 2 years the http://www.gsufans.com (Flight Line board) has not.

http://www.gsufans.com has 3700+ members of which about only 10 TalonTalk members man that board. The True TalonTalk members are true blue eagle fans that bring a little trash, fact and fun to other boards. I hope you visit TalonTalk next year, or any time, weather GSU is winning or loosing and shoot us some $h!t. Or send us some other victums you know!

Have a great recruiting years Emus. I wouldn't mind seeing you in a better Bowl for more money!

This really has been one of the coolest things ever on this board. I don't recall seeing any Old Dominion fans when we did the Bahamas Bowl.

GSU beat ODU like the skanks they were (TWICE IN the 1aa playoffs) If you look up "OLD DOMINION" you will find that they are a (Trucking Lines School) .

I don't post a whole lot on message boards (or at all on your boards actually), but I do lurk and take it all in. I just wanted to share that I've really enjoyed getting to know EMU the past couple weeks. Y'all have some pretty good guys up there in the great white north. And had your eagles (or Yeagles, as the guy behind me started calling y'all. Stands for Yankee Eagles. lol) managed to pull out the win I would have been sad, but not mad. Best matchup team and fan -wise we could have asked for in my opinion. I will definitely be keeping up with you guys in the future.

I'd like a home & home with EMU. It wouldn't even have to be back to back. WE may have to skip a year for scheduling purposes but thats OK.

Question - Which is the highest ranked bowl that a MAC and Sunbelt team could meet at????
