Monday Musings
When that kick went through the up rights good it was an end to another "ok" year of EMU football.
Had a similar kick went through the up rights vs NIU we could've played for a MAC Championship @ford field.
Had a similar kick had missed against Purdue we would have been calling for a competent special teams coach and recruiting, ah a game of inches.
Basketball team has a shot to show they have a pulse against a good UC-irvine team that can shoot the 3.
Recruiting dead period begins today until january 10th, so won't hear much from team on that hope our coaches do not get recruited. still worried about Iowa State though..
anyhow congrats to all new huron-eagle grads and have a good holiday season everyone.

RE: Monday Musings
CC$ was VERY excited to have this special group of seniors hoist a trophy. They were very close. That's good coaching.
However, as is his norm, he was also looking out for them as more than football players. Which is why he had a "graduation ceremony" (I don't have a link, but it was on the broadcast & in the Free Press article), complete with caps & gowns, for the seniors who were missing out. When you think about the whole college experience, and what an amazing tool football can be...I am very glad that those young men have an opportunity to play at EMU under this staff.
Special deal. That's great coaching.
