Could someone who transfered now really even see the field this fall? New team, coaches, playbooks, schemes with games already starting.

Probably cannot play. I don't know all of the details, but I know some of the seniors they are letting move on as opposed to setting out this year and then playing next year. The numbers game is gonna be a nightmare and the staff likely wants their guys.

Most of the dudes transferring so far are likely headed to FCS, so it’s more so for the spring/next fall.

The tweet referring to Schollys not being renewed is absolutely the case. I believe the criteria for the seniors to be still be under scholarship was being a 4 year starter. The rest will be cut.

Which is very unfortunate but part of the blowback from COVID. Hate to see it, but I believe all of these guys had the ability to graduate from ODU.

OTOH, Rahne is going to be judged by wins and tough decisions have to be made.
